I'd love to win the lottery. I went walking yesterday at a local place about 5 miles away and the houses backing onto the river with their own mooring etc., would do nicely thank you so I don't need loads just a couple of million!

Well did not hear any screams of joy from the forum, so I guess forum members did not win that lovely sum of money... or are they keeping stum? Would you honestly be able to keep it to yourself? (not the money - the news) Whilst I would like not to scream it from the rooftops, my desire to help my family and friends would prevent me from doing so, plus I couldn't keep such excitement to myself.

Looks like I will have to keep trying.

Only do the works lottery now which I run. I always check the numbers on a Sunday morning. Sadly, the most we have won this year so far is £40.

I buy tickets online and get excited when I get an email telling me "we have important news about your ticket" - alas, it's never been more than £10 lately [:)]

If I do the lottery I do it online. I should do it really as I've found a nice barn conversion that I need over £1m for - in the middle of nowhere so no neigjbours! My idea of heaven! I'd just have to convert all the spare bedrooms into offices so that we couldn't have have visitors!
