Just dropped the skip off for it's annual frightener -- it's worse than waiting at the dentist [:(]

It's horrible Foggy isn't it!. It's so expensive too these days. My Picasso came back with 3-4 advisories re suspension ball joints etc. I plan to replace when funds allow!.

Good luck - hope it gets through OK.

Hope it passes Foggy.

Mine is in July it's like annual review time for me until I'm told all is ok!

The college I work has just opened a workshop and the Level 3 learners can now do pre-MOT under strict supervision, it gets a valet, one of the lecturers then takes it for MOT. All for a very reasonable price too. Might think about it this year.

My colleagues have reservations due to them having 'nice' cars but my old Focus, I'm not too fussed anymore. x

It passed, after replacing an "incorrectly coloured indicator bulb". It's the same one as was there last year, so must have faded!

The only advisory was that the centre rear lap belt was missing .... eerrr, no ... it's tucked down out of the wat as no-one uses it !

Oh well ... barring accidents and breakdowns, the skip is good for another year :-)

Well done on that then Foggy!

I've just took my car and flat tyre to the tyre place and only £15 for a repair I was prepared for a new tyre but not this time so happy!

Glad it passed Foggy. Mine isn't due until August and every year I'm convinced it'll need a lot of work.

Glad they could repair your tyre Lesley.

Glad it passed Foggy and great news on the tyre Lesley!

My car had it's MOT last week and I agree, waiting for the result is nervewracking. Thankfully she passed [:)]

I use a local trusted garage and pay £30 for a MOT.

Mine is due in may and I have managed to put some money away for it but its always the case that if I have £100 put away it will cost £150 if I have £250 put away it will cost £300,so I am going to pretend to myself that I havent put anything aside in the hope that it passes!!!!

I know what you men Paul! Mine is due in August and luckily my friend's husband is a mechanic so he services and MOTs the car quite cheaply for me. I also know he won't rip me off like a lot of garages do!
