There is always something positive to be found in what seems like a negative. After years of adiction to alcohol, I now have a choice of buying it or saving for a much needed holiday. The holiday is winning and the alcohol craving is diminishing.
Being in control, even if money is limited, is feeling good.

Well done you, keep your focus on that holiday and it'll not be long before you'll be experiencing it. Where do you fancy going?
Glad the crave is going and being in control is good x

Its only a week in our well used and a bit battered tent, probably somewhere quiet where we can enjoy the peace and quiet countryside of this beautiful island of ours, but I cant wait.

I stopped drinking ten years ago and don't miss it. And with the prices now I have no intention of taking it up again!

I do like a drink and to be honest, the supermarket prices aren't that bad at the moment. There's usually a deal or two to be had.

It would certainly make a good talking point down at the pub -- you could make it your party piece. Far better than mine ... when I drink I fall off the bar stool !!!

Never disgrace myself at the pub and at home I tend to go to bed and sleep it off.
No hangover either!!
