Not that I have aspirations ot become one, but how do you become a Forum Expert (and an Administrator / campaigner for that matter)?

Hi Fletch, The novice, junior, journeyman, etc titles are generated by the forum system as your post numbers increase.
Becoming an expert / admin etc is by invitation.

That makes sense Foggy
What are the target numbers for novice, junior, journeyman, campaigner, etc?

I think 'journeyman' is above 500 posts.

I think it is above 500 and it automatically changes when you hit the appropriate number.
As Foggy says, expert and above is by invitation. That is sorted out by Andy.

I want a promotion from Artisan! I've been that for ages and won't ever be anything else - boo hoo!

Unfortunately, unless made an expert, Artisan is the highest you can go.

Unusual for a forum to have 1000 as the upper post limit for a title change. - I have seen them go into the tens of thousands. I doubt I will ever make the dizzy heights of expert so an Artisan I shall stay.

We are all equal - all posts are valued as Lesley says and no one is thought of any less or any more - I have been able to help / support so many people with my posts as have others - and along the way I have made some lovely new friends !
