Just checked my credit rating score.....937 which is classified "GOOD"....thats actually better than 2 years ago when I entered IVA.

Had a few "green" ticks but mainly 8/9 "red" DEFAULT ticks.

Interesting to see that the report also records payments to all my creditors made by the IVA Company.

(Just took the 30 day trial of course)

Hi, I have to admit to not understanding it and have never obtained mine, but will do so once I've concluded my IVA and hopefully with the assistance of the forum members make a modicum of sense out of it all. x

Experian's credit score unfortunately counts for very little. When we applied for our mortgage this year is was equifax that the lending agent used and their score was far more accurate.

However, it is quite nice to see your credit reports with the green marks against your current payments and your current account being maintained within the limits etc.

The red defaults aren't so nice, but hey they aren't forever !

Makes little differance either way to tell the truth as apart from applying for mortgage at 4th year (as per IVA) I dont EVER plan on getting credit again.

I shall just clean mine up and that's it.

I'll never say that I'll never have credit again.

I'm not in the slightest bit interested in my credit report until another 5 and a bit years time, then I'll start cleaning it up, until then they can put green ticks red ticks, rainbow ticks or whatever on there it doesn't matter!

I agree Lem and I'm ignorant I know but I honestly don't understand it either and will turn to the forum for help in cleaning mine up as I know I can rely on the knowledge and expertise of some posters to assist.

Like Jan, I'll never say never to credit again as you just never know but hopefully I'll have learnt my lesson as to how much credit!

It's definitely worth clearing up your credit files even if you don't intend getting credit again. If creditors carry on defaulting you there is a chance the debt could be sold on and you could end up being chased by a DCA.

I'll do it Skippy but don't have a clue at the minute how to, however, I know I can rely on the forum to advise accordingly nearer the time. How bad of me not to know but honest until I applied for an IVA I hadn't missed a payment! Another month or two and that'd have been a whole different story so glad I acted when I did, no regrets for me x
