Some news. First of all we made our first IVA repayment in November and today my boss called me into the office to say that he is paying me a £500 (before tax) bonus in my December salary. It will be lovely to be able to keep some but also to pay more into the creditors pot as it is completely unprecedented- I never get bonuses. Secondly I was in town after work and walked past The British Heart Foundation shop - they were advertising for volunteers. I have picked up a form and intend to take it back in tomorrow to give a few hours a week as a volunteer. For many reasons but mainly because my Mother died of a heart attack on Christmas Eve 13 years ago and so I have decided to do something positive now that my thoughts are not completely occupied by money! All in all it's been a great day.[:D]

Thanks very much lem. I hope so too, think it's the 50/50 clause in our IVA. I've emailed our IP to let her know so should hear in due course.

I start my volunteer work on the afternoon of the 6th of January. I will be helping to sort our merchandise in the shop as it comes in, on the till etc. Should also be able to give up a few hours each Sat too. I am really looking forward to it.
