How lucky are we to have such gorgeous weather this week ? Golden days of Autumn, just awesome. Had a date last night, who managed to prise me out of the flat and onto a train to Waterloo for a walk and dinner along the South Bank as the sun went down, very nice. Though I almost fainted on the train home, with my ticker, not a flinch or panic though, I felt a bit of a berk, but he was not phased or worried at all. Did the drill before we went out. So all good.I do get so upset sometimes, that even a nice evening, can be spoiled by my condition. All these little "events" I need to make my docs aware of, which I'm just about to get on the blower and do. Enjoy the sunshine folks, hope all are well.

Well the goats ran around for 10 minutes in the paddock and then decided it was too hot and ran back to their home!!
And so nice to know the gritters are on standby from Sunday in Devon! lol.
People making such a fuss about it, but if they weren't ready and we suddenly get freezing weather in a few weeks there would be an uproar - they can't win!!!

Don't come this far tho - mostly it rains!! Then of course in the winter I get snowed in a lot which is hard when the nearest shop is 7 miles away.

Yeah - reading it again - it is rather nice to ring work and ask for special leave....again as I can't dig the car out. Last year was worse as we live on an A road and they decided to save money by not clearing it when it snowed.
The worst thing about the county is I was sitting in a cafe 20 miles away enjoying some winter sun and got a frantic call from hubby wondering where I was as there was already 4 inches of snow on the road!!! 3 hours later I got back.
