i've stuck the url in each box ...yet nothing ...how did i get so far in life lol

Ok then! When you copy the bit from the website you need to paste it in your signature box on your profile. If you press preview then, it will just show all the writing.
If you add:
after png and then press preview it will bring up the ticker. I've put mine below so you can see what I mean!

Don't put the url in the box, you need to copy the text from the site and scroll down on your profile until you ge to the signature box - then paste it in there add the bits I wrote in the above bit and it should work
