Big Geordie and Little Geordie were standing at the base of a flagpole. A woman walked by and asked what they were doing.
"We've been telt ter find the height of this flagpole," said Big Geordie, "but it's ower high and we divvent have a ladder."
The woman took a spanner from her handbag, loosened a few bolts, and laid the pole down. Then she took a tape measure from her pocket, took a measurement, and announced, "Eighteen feet, six inches," and walked away.
Little Geordie shook his head and laughed, "Innt that just like a dumb blonde Da. We ask for the height, and she gissus us the length."
