Hi

I have had to have £1,200 woRTH of repair damage done to my car which was not covered under the insuracne claim ( I had an accident ). My friend who has a business kindly paid for it by business cheque, unfortunaltey his cheque bounced because an invoice from his business that he was convinced would be paid did not, so it has left him in a difficult position as he is now trting to retrieve his money owed to him and he has had to pay bank charges. So the garage are now after me to pay the bill, they have written to me saying if I do not pay within 7 days then they will pass the debt onto a debt collector.

Spoke to Pay Plan,, because I have only been in the IVA for 9 months they are not prepared to give me payment break. I am now looking at loans for bad credit people ( YES I KNOW!!) I have no family who can lend the money to me, I need my car for work so can't sell it, I can't think of anything else to do!!! Am at my wits end now

Not good. I would ring Payplan again and ask to speak to your IP, not admin. It is in nobodies interests to allow the IVA to fail if it can be avoided.

If you get a loan without your IP's consent you will be in breach and it could fail.

Tell payplan that you need the payment break. Do not take out a loan to cover this. Payplan will not want to fail you as you will be boosting their bank balance for years to come so dont feel you arent allowed to argue your case!!
