Hi,
Well, I have a couple of bits of news, the first is for anyone that has read my blog I mentioned that I was hoping to get a cheap week away well you must have noticed that I haven't been around for a week or so the reason being we got a really cheap deal with Co Op travel to Tunisia, we got back yesterday after a fantastic week away, it was all inclusive so we didn't have to worry about spending money and it was so nice to lay by a pool with the sun beating down, it was over 30ÂșC most days. It was only a 3* hotel and the food left a bit to be desired but it was more than we expected and it makes all the nights we have stayed in worth it.
My other bit of news is I am going to be a Nanny again in October, I mentioned it might happen on my blog a few months ago, I have known for a while (since Beg March) but my son asked me not to say anything to anyone until after the scan. It is due last week of October. I have asked if they can make it a grand daughter this time...

Thanks,
yes we are all very excited about the baby, just got to get my crochet hooks out and do a shawl, same one I did for my son when I was expecting him a wonderful lacy circular one, looks lovely when done just takes ages but I have a few months to get it done in.
The holiday was fantastic totally unexpected, we just happened to be at Sainsbury's and saw it on the Co-Op travel window couldn't resist it was a bargain. We have been putting every penny away for ages and luckily not need the contingency, plus a couple of bonus' I had got so it had built up into a nice little fund.

Well done on getting a cheap deal and congrats on being a prospective granny again!

Have to say that I went to Tunisia once and we both absolutely hated it! Wouldn't got there again.

I loved it and it made my children very aware that not everyone was as fortunate as us x

Strangely enough we both loved Egypt which is a similar sort of country but I found Tunisia very dirty, I was ill when I was there and the locals were very intimidating - at one point having somehow found ourselves in a carpet shop and not buying one, I really felt threatened as the owner wouldn't let us out of the shop!

We did manage to escape but I was waiting for a knife in my back!

Oh that wasn't a good experience of a country.

I've never done Egypt but would love to and Cyprus and I'm sure I'll do the latter sooner than I had planned. x

I must say that we both felt really frightened in the shop and I have no idea how we ended up in there!

We went to Tunis as well and hubby had a roll of film stolen from his camera bag and I had to leave the old Medina as I felt claustrobic - don't normally suffer anything like that.

We only went to Taba Heights in Egypt - would love to do the pyramids though.

I have done both Tunisia and Egypt and much prefer Egypt. Have done Taba, Sharm Luxor Cairo and Nile Cruise. There is just so much to see and do there and they are so tourist friendly. Went on my own to all of these places except Sharm and had no problems at all

Where did you stay in Taba? We went two years ago and stayed at El Wakala resort - a bit far from the beach although to be honest I thought the beach was rubbish! Loved the hotel though.

We used to do Egypt a lot, mainly 2 centre's Luxor and Hurghada, have done Sharm as well once. Did the Pyramid trip from Hurghada one holiday.

Luxor and Cairo is more real Egypt and you get a lot more hassle there, we don't mind the hassle now though used to it we have been so much. Got more hassled in Luxor every time than Tunisia , the Tunisisans gave up to easily [:D]

We love Egypt cant wait to go back once our IVA is over.
