Happy Mother's Day!!!

I saw all my girlies yesterday, they thought it funny to buy me a flash mop and J cloths as pressies![}:)] The "real" presents were fab though, boots and necklace along with homemade certificate. Oooops and also had a fab card from The Dobster and cats [:D]

I've been down the beach for a lovely walk, just spoken to my wonderful Mum and now have the rest of the day to clean!![:)]

Enjoy your day [:)]

We've got my parents coming across for lunch, I've had no gifts as I requested that daughter didn't buy anything. I've had cards from the stepkids as well which is nice.

Did spot the deliberate mistake on the one from the stepson - he missed off the name of the new baby!

I wish all you Mum's a great day.

Whether you have a job away from family or not, being a Mum is the most worthwhile and rewarding "career" there can be.

When I did a spell as a single P ( to teenage girls) I ironed EVERYTHING ---- then I saw the light, and for the past decade haven't ironed anything ( except formal shirts ) .... "man at primark" doesn't iron ... the creases drop out after half an hour -- it's great :-)

Hope all you mum's are having an enjoyable day. Unfortunately mine is a bit mixed emotionally - my eldest daughter (a wonderful mum herself) was admitted to hospital yesterday with a small bleed on her brain so its all a bit frantic in my household at the moment. I have had some lovely cards though from my other kids and did get a cup of tea in bed plus hubby done the ironing!!

I do hope your daughter is ok Julie. x

I had a nice lie in this morning. I got up about 9:30 which is unheard of in this house! My dear OH has just cooked us a lovely roast dinner. I am now stuffed, unable to move and may have to try and sleep it off!

Happy Mother's day!
