Since I used my pension lump sum for a F&F in October, thought I had said goodbye to my dream trip to China, however this gave me such a shock and I now realise I can't have everything I want. I have worked out that if I only buy what I need then can actully save for the first time in my life(I'm a late learner), and in a couple of years the trip will be possible if I count the pennies[:)]

nepensioner your and hubby's dream are the same he wants to go on a trip to China as well, I promised him that we will save up after the IVA is finished we will go as a celebration of being debt free, with his pension etc (which we do not get until 2013) we have worked out once the IVA is finished we should be approx £700 per month better off to what we are now so it should be possible within a year of finishing.

I resolve to have a decorated bathroom, I've got the new boiler so it's all nice and warm now with hot water coming out of taps which is somewhat of a luxury for us...so therefore now instead of the embarrassing hovel I'm using at the minute it's going to be revamped. x

[:D] None for me either im afraid.
I smoke and like it.
I swear and just cant help it LOL
Dont want to travel.

Im quite happy with my life and everything in it to be honest. Too many health issues in the last few years have taught me that there are far better things to be concerned about than worrying about trivial things.

Hope you all have a great 2011

I don't smoke, don't need to lose weight and drink in moderation.

Pretty perfect really..........apart from the debt problem!

I don't make them - I rarely drink, don't smoke and I'm already losing weight so there's not a lot left!

I need to be more motivated and stick to things I begin, my biggest fault!

My only one is to be better with my money, and don't take my other half shopping, i did this yesterday and she looked at me in disgust. She has this habit on sundays to go wandering round the bullring or touchwood and tbh it just annoys me, i hate window shopping, so this year im putting my foot down. We can go for a wander down the canals or do something productive, no shops!!

I personally don't like shopping, would much prefer to stay in but do need to get up and do something instead of sitting around on the computer.
