Will you lose out money wise?
My wife loves her night shifts, although she does a mixture of earlies, lates and nights(Staff nurse in a secure mental health ward!).

Yes I will Paul but better that than heading towards being one of your wife's patients!! I am a terrible sleeper (during the day) and the effects are cumulative. Towards the end of my set of shifts I am completely exhausted with a long drive home.

I used to do a few waking nights at the childrens home and I enjoyed them all on my own and tottered around all night. Not sure I could do them all the time though x

I never used to mind night shifts, I worked one week in four.
Whether I could work it now though is another matter!

Might be my ideal job at the minute the way I've slept for the past year. x
