So, I have received my gift voucher for winning Blog of the week [:D] and now i have some more nice news.

I went to get some new glasses 2 weeks ago (all budgeted in to incomings etc). Anyways, at work we are in a health scheme so i am able to claim back some money for them. Found out today I will be getting back 2/3's of the money. [:D][:D] thats a nice little bonus. I think I may get my hair done for my holidays and put £10-£20 towards my vouchers. YAY! [:D]

Health Schemes are great I'm in one at work that cost me £32 a month but it covers me for all sorts of stuff.

It's great cos it costs me £384 a year but I can claim £550 a year dental and glasses [:D]

I spend the full allowance usually as my teeth are poor lol, I have contact lenses and glasses. One little way of making the money go further.

What are you treating yourself to with your vouchers flow?

We get BUPA through work and to be honest it's a waste of time. I've got a problem with my neck at the moment and I asked about seeing an osteopath. The problem is my lower back is exempt and therefore my neck as well as they are connected!

I'm lucky that I can claim £75 towards my glasses every 2 years from work. I've just got a new pair as I didn't have a spare and it only cost me £55 for a pair of glasses and prescription sunglasses!

God exemptions suck Skippy!

My theory is that if they have exempted my back and, as they are connected, my neck and shoulders they should exempt everything as it's all connected somehow!

I probably could have argued it and asked my doctor for a referral, but my neck was bad and I couldn't wait that long!

Insurance schemes never want to pay out, always looking for an excuse lol.

Luke we don't actually for the healthcare membership ourselves. our employer pays it. We are with Westfields. There are 3 levels. At the minute we are on level 2, but I have heard a rumour that we might be going up - so that would mean we would get more bakc. x

We had westfield in my last job and they are so lovely. Never any quibbles about it. I always used my full allowence for glasses and dentist and used and osteopath once a month. I paid a little extra to go up to level 3 and it was worth it.

My new job has bupa which thankfully i have not had to use as yet. I have heard they are difficult though.

On Saturday I received a cheque for £75 totally out of the blue. My mum and I are going away for a few days next month so that will go nicely towards it.

I have to say I'm not impressed with BUPA and I really begrudge the amount it costs me in tax!
