Right girls, here's the story.

You have had your fill of Chanel, Armani, Christian Dior, Givenchy and Jean Paul Gautier. In fact since your IVA, and the dreadful act of cutting up and cancelling those gorgeous plastic bringers of glamour, any Haute Couture outlet is now out of the question.

5 course dinner parties and cleaning up with Mr Muscle afterwards are a tthing of the past.
It's Asda smart price baked beans, some bread (with the blue bits cut off) and Liddle cleaning products from now on.

But we all need clothes, (me more than most - two lots!), so where do we go?

Asda
Tesco
Matalan
Primani (Primark)
Priceless shoes
Shoe Zone
TK Max (If you like looking through clothes piled up on the floor)
Market stalls
Ebay

Having been in an IVA for 59 months, I know a bargain when I see one, and there is no need to despair, honestly.

It takes a bit of getting used to, certainly in the early days, but there is a great deal of gratification in coming home with bags of new clothes and shoes- just like you used to, but this time they are all paid for.
Also, you still look too fat in them, but at a real fraction of the cost, it doesnt really matter.
It's just that this time, they have come out of your 'contingencies / newspapers/ haircuts budget!

It'll be fine where it is Tina as it's on the social side.

Admin will pick up on it if needs be as we can't move anything.

I can't be doing with TK Maxx, I refuse to sort through everything!

I've also found that Next do a good basics range with t shirts that are about £5 each but are often cheaper if you buy 2.

I usually do the basics at all of the supermarkets and we also have a shop close to me called Essential Clothing who do high street fashions at a fraction of the cost.

Don't forget the good old charity shops as well.

[:D][:D] Oh now THIS has brought a smile to my face!

Very funny.

I'm too fat for Primani and PVC so have no choice but to dress in last year's cast off tents. Most attractive.[:D]
