Mark, what a lovely sense of humour you have in the face of adversity![:D]
I thank god I don't have storage heaters! Can't help you with that one, but I hope the bill isn't too high.

Thanks Jan,
Aye do have good SoH, helps big time with lifes dramas, elec is currently £75 per month, before this long cold spell, so expecting it to hit £100 maybe more gulp !!!!, annual review soon, so things should balance out anyway, £400 for the car was a pain, new rear brakes were needed.

I sometimes think it is our sense of humour that carries us through the tough times, you stay warm Mark and hopefully with the review etc., things will even out. x

Thanks me old muckers,
Cant complain about the the car too much, she is doing really well, 120,000 miles and 8 years old, first major expense for 3 years or so, will need new tyres soon though, got to keep her going, Silly shifts means I do need a car, and after 1830 there is no public transport to my house, thats before I get to the motorways etc as I live in a different town to work. Allready planning post IVA, will save 12 months payments, and then pay cash for a 1 maybe 2 year old low mileage car, that will be so cool.

Sorry to hear about your car Mark, it's a pain when things start going wrong isn't it. I panic every time mine has to be serviced and MOT'd!
Keep smiling, and you know where we are if you need a rant!

You have to take adversity head on, and smile through, little bit of OT paid for the car, so no great drama- he says ruefully, still have had a brill result, my GF has paid for a holiday for us- we dont live together, so she has nowt to do with my IVA, all I have to do is save as much spending money as I can to put into the pot, she is great and I love her to bits, I am a very lucky chappy.
Mark- have a nice weekend all

What a lovely thing for her to do, I hope you have a lovely time! Dave has paid for various things for me over the last few years and it means a lot doesn't it?

Hi Skippy,
Certainly does mean a lot, I am a lucky chap, she has not given me a hard time at all, and does not expect too much, and is fully supporting, only one clause, when I have finished my IVA I have to pay for a holiday of her choosing !!!
