Mrs S - so sorry to hear that and hope you feel better soon. I have had a couple of workmates who have had that and are now fully recovered.
One of them did have Tamiflu but stopped taking it as it made her feel worse!

Oh no, that's not good, I don't know anyone who has had it so can't help but just send my best wishes to you for a speedy recovery.

Tamiflu like many other drugs will work better for some more than others. Take it regularly and finish the course(unless it has major side effects on you).
Fluids and paracetamol and rest, you will feel better in no time and can rest easy knowing that you wont catch it again..........until it mutates!!!

Im not normally worried about things like that but felt i had to ring then because i have MS, Astma and Trigeminal Neuralgia.......better to be safe than sorry.
I have spent most of today in bed in pj's and dressing gown with the hood up and have been shivering.

I hope you are feeling better today Mrs S. I can understand your being worried about that with your other health problems. I worry that my hubby, with his COPD and heart disease, will get it.
Decided it was time I changed my signature![:D]

Sorry to hear you're poorly Mrs S. Good luck with the Tamiflu - personally I won't be taking it if I get flu (I usually get every side effect going!) but I hope it makes you feel better xxx

Hi,
I had Swine Flu a couple of weeks ago and it was awful so I hope you feel better soon.
I took a 5 day course of Tamiflu and had some side effects which were: dizziness and stomach cramps but from what I have read it effects everyone differently

my partner and mother in law had swine flu when it first hit in bedfordshire. They really suffered for over a week but got better without taking the tamiflu. apparently the tamiflu has really horrible side affects
