I know we've had similar posts before, but as there's so many new posters, I thought I'd start a new thread.
If we post what we do jobwise etc...may help other posters somewhere along the line.
I'm a HR Manager, specialising in employment law, also experienced office & finance manager and just got my A1 qualification...

I currently work in housing. I started my career as a carpenter before moving onto an inspection role. I have an HNC in building studies and currently half way through a degree in building surveying. My role at the moment involves dealing with properties that are due to become vacant which involves advising tenants of any breaches of tenancy, appraising any repairs that are required, producing energy performance certificates carrying out decent homes surveys. I will alwasys try and help if anybody needs any housing advice.

Had a bit of a problem a few years ago when I got stopped by an unmarked car for driving a bit too enthusiastically and because he was moving he had to average my speed which wasn't quite as high as he would have liked it to have been (avg. was 88.7) and he was also training a colleague, I had 6 points and a hefty fine but got off quite light really. But every where I went for about 2 years after a police officer was never far away. I worked with chief constables wife at the time and we got on really well but I didn't get any help which is only fair.

I work in the electronics industry which is no use to anyone, but in the past I've worked for a cable television company and in the court service and still have an ambition to be a police officer!
