Hi hun

Just wanted to say thanks. I have been in touch with a disability advocate but I dont know if they can be there in time. I will get someone there to scribble some notes though, just for effect and all that. I did mention about seeing a solicitor in the said letter too. I even wrote to one online and then they asked me for £12, I thought, sod that.

Dont worry hun, I always bounce back up, its the bouncing that keeps me going I think.

Just wanted to say a massive thanks and that I appreciate your comments. [:D][:D][:D] there should be more people like you in the world.

Love lots

Nah we are mates now like it or not and mates look out for each other.[:D]

As for the solicitor, just check your local Thomson for one. CAB should have a list too...as should your housing, but lets avoid them huh?.[:)][:)] Might be worth asking if there is a local welfare rights office too, they are usually pretty good with local authority.

Take care sweetie
xx

Hi Lily,

Been reading your blog and would suggest that you contact your child's disability team to act on your behalf, that's what I would do.

Thanks Charles

I did that and they have written a letter on our behalf, they have also offered respite any time things get too much. Probably take them up on that with the move. Also because there are minors involved the investigating offier is bringing a trained worker to speak with the children and put their point across, so it seems to be all coming together now.

Thanks everyone for the support.

Love

Thanks guys

Been to look at two houses late this afternoon, quite nice but with 30 year old wallpaper, I am more a painted magnolia person myself, scan not too bad the usual really.

Feeling much more positive and on first name terms with the allocations manager and bob the stud wall builder, nothing definate yet though, as there has to be health and safety checks before stud walls happen.

Thanks to everyone who cares, I really appreciate it. I am trully and really grateful. I know I have been a compete stress head with one thing after another but I didnt ever mean to be. I couldnt have forseen the events of the last 3 years when I started posting here. Good job I couldnt really, as I would have turned and run the other way.

I can never ever thank you all enough.

Lots of love now and for always.

So glad you are feeling positive Lily. I take it the two houses didn't take your fancy (not withstanding the wallpaper - I'm with you on that one!)

Glad the scan went ok as well.

Hopefully things are now on the up.

Thinking of you.

I'm glad things are on the up for you Lily, and that the scan was ok.

I don't mind wallpaper in some circumstances (better than the suede effect paint the last people used in my living room - at least you can get rid of it!) but preferably not 30 years old! Hopefully something will come along soon.

Big hugs to you and your family xxxxx

My first house when I got married for the first time in 1975, we put hessian wallpaper on the one wall! We used to have to hoover it!

Not recommended!
