Good morning all and welcome back to Viki after her trials LOL, nice to see MTD back on form too. Here's me Christmas sniggerette for today .....
Bernie Epstein decided to get away from the often inclement weather of the Durham east coast and spend Christmas in the Canary Islands. Being unfamiliar with that part of the world he wandered into a 'restricted' hotel and said 'Hello marra, Aah'm Mr Bernie Epstein and Aah'd like a room for a few neets.'
'I'm very sorry,' said the manager, but all our rooms are taken."
Just as he said that a customer came to the desk and unexpectedly checked out.
'Why isn't that lucky' said Bernie, 'Now yer've gorra spare room for me.'
'Look, I'm very sorry' said the manager, but this is a restricted hotel. Jews are not allowed here.
'Jewish! Whaddya mean Jewish. Aah'ma Catholic, man'
'That takes some believing' said the manager. Tell me, who was the Son of God?'
'Jesus.' answers Bernie
'Where was he born?'
'In a stable in Bethlehem..... 'cos some schmuck like yay wouldn't rent a room to a Jew.'
