Hey all,

As some of you know I'm in London on a training course for my new job. Well, I booked what looked like a decent(cheap) guest house for my stay, as Liverpool is a million miles away so couldn't commute. I stayed there last night and it was awful. It smelt, wasn't very clean and the bathroom and loo were across the hall but had no lock on the door![:0]

Anyhoo, my new boss and his assistant found a lovely hotel not far away so I've just moved.[:)] It's got internet access (thank god I can get on here) but can't access my emails for some reason so the kind hotel manager let me use his computer in his posh office![:X]

I can't do that again though so just to let my email buddies know I can't reply.

I can access the forum though so WOO HOO![:p] Please all keep me company, I'm here until Thursday evening.

I was beginning to worry Viki - thought your landlady had done you in when I hadn't heard from you![:D]

Glad you've got somewhere better and that you seem to be enjoying yourself.

[:D][:D][:D] I was a bit scared! I smelt all musty today! And not in a good way![xx(] It's fab here, holiday inn express, brand new and smells nice and fresh! I've really enjoyed today.[:)] Hope your back gets better, are you taking any pills and taking it easy? X

I've had some pain killers and it has eased a bit. Lord knows what I've done to it. Could just about get up out of the chair. I shall see what it's like in the morning as to whether I go to work or not. Hubby reckons I won't be able to get in or out of the car!

The Holiday Inn sounds much better. I just had all sorts of visions of the place you were in last night.! Did they say anything when you left?

viki, hope you enjoy your training course and learn lots, i stayed in a place just like you described in london once, luckely i was with some one else but we had the chair bolted against the door and was trying to hang the curtains by clothes pegs.nightmare [:p]

Jan, I told a little white lie! I told her that the company were changing the course to Birmingham!!!!![;)] I just didn't want to hurt her feelings.[:I] Don't go to work, you won't be able to move. Poor you, big hug hunni. X

URGH Abby, that's how I felt. It was my own fault, I'm rubbish finding anything on the internet. I should have posted like Julie did to see if anyone could have recommended one. It's all good now though.[:)] X

I don't go until Thursday Viki, which is just as well, as haven't had a good day today. I'm hoping to fly so I'll be home Friday afternoon, don't really want to go, but needs must eh......hope I don't get a musty hotel [:D]

Hi Viki, glad you're ok. sounds like a bit of a nightmare place!! your boss sounds really nice though! hope the training is going well. They could have arranged something for you in the first place though!
my books calling so I'm off to bed with a book and a cat!!

Dunno Julie. Back was fine when I got up this morning, then it started to twinge, and it's really bothering me now. Can't even sit in my armchair as it's taking too long to get out of again! Sat on a nice hard dining room chair at the moment!
