Just got a phone call to say that Freeman Jones received all our Income and Expenditiure forms today. Just had to do a couple of adjustments and they talked me through some money saving tips, they are now filling in the paperwork and somebody will call me on Friday to finalise that bit. We are now perpearing for a bumpy ride! However one of my creditors just called and I was amazed. I told them that I was entering into an IVA and she was very polite and said that she would make a note of it!! Hope they are all like that![:0]

I am with freeman jones too and have absolutely no complaints they have been really fair and helpful. I am sure they will do their best for you. You will find that creditor calls may vary I had some nice and some indifferent and only one that was a real pain. just stick to your guns and dont pay anything just give them the ref and infrom them you are in the throws of applying for an iva.

Thanks Aguise it is comforting to know that you had no problems with this company. They have kept to everything they have promised so far. Feeling abit better this evening. I was very low earlier on today but this forum is really helping me with all the advice and information.

I felt like that very up and down but the forum helped a lot, just reading the other posts and knowing I was not alone.
I found Fj very supportive in the setting up stages and now in the iva have an account manager that I can speak to if there are any queries with a direct email and phone number.

Glad you had a good experience on the phone with one of your creditors. It does make a change!

Even if you get the nasty ones, don't let them get you down. Just put the phone down, remember they are just trying to bully you into paying money over.

You're well on the way to your meeting now, so just hang in there.
