hi guys,

Not sure if I can post this but I'm sure Admin will advise me if not?

We are going on holiday to visit friends in Dublin on Tues 30 Sept until Sun 5 Oct. I had a brainwave last night that if anyone fancies using our house whilst we are aware for a cheap holiday then please let me know - (nb admin it's fine to give out my email address)We have a king size & a doouble bed and a couple of camp beds for the kids!

We are about 4 miles out of Poole town centre in Dorset and only a few miles away from Wimborne. There are plenty of things to do and visit, and lots and lots of walking (OS maps included!!![:D])

Its only a thought as I know how exepnsicve and how difficult it is to go away sometimes!

What a good idea! Don't need it myself this year but I am sure someone will take you up on it.

Love the Poole area, my stepdaughter lived in Creekmoor until her divorce and we used to love going down there for weekends

I think it's a lovely idea and a lovely gesture. I don't think anyone would want to swap with my derelict property, unless you're part of the 60 minute makeover team??

Seriously lovely idea, well done for thinking of that. x

You never know Marie - someone might want to see a bit of wild life!
Only kidding - I know what it's like to have rats!

I don't our rats will mind - luckily they live outdoors and not under the floors - yet!!!

The property in question may vary from the initial description as finally our b******y landlord has decided to sell - again!!! This comes two weeks after initially serving the notice of possession - did i tempt fate by my post this morning!!![:D]

Still up for loaning what ever property we have to whom ever needs/wants it for that period

And loving the idea of a weeks house swap - we could tour the uk and not pay for accomodation - this idea i think has got mileage!!!

Speaking of touring the uk - got to finish loading the car otherwise we'll never reach the campsite before tea and I've got the tea for 10 people!!!!!

Your 2 eldest would soon disperse if we landed on them with our 9 yr old. He can talk the hind legs off a donkey[:D]

He has always wanted a sibling if even only for a short while.....How would they cope with an annoying 9 year old brother??[;)]

I'm the youngest of 3 and I was a NIGHTMARE - still am apparently. [:D][:D]

Just think of all that cultural heritage though Barb, you've got all those pottery shops, a half decent shopping centre (at least it was last time I went there!), Trentham Gardens isn't far.

I live in the south of the county and we have Cannock Chase and that's about it!

Marie, they have an 11yr brother AND a 7yr sister who between them push all the right buttons with them and they still refuse to budge!!!! [:(]
Cat, yes the house is very hectic, our landlord keeps saying he's going to try to find us a bigger house....[:D]
