Some cracking ties there - shame all the English sides couldn't be kept apart.
Hard to predict who will win it.

I'm reasonably happy. Although Roma are doing well, we have had some good results against them in the last cople of years.
I suspect that Chelsea fans are the happiest of all though........

I take it you are a Man U fan - I am Pompey (I went to OT on Sat...cracking game...welll for us!!).
Out of all the English side I would want you or Liverpool to do well.

I am a red and the FA Cup game was just one of those things, Pompey played very well though in fairness.
About time an English side won it though and IF we can get past Roma then it will be Barca in the semis and I would have to fancy Utd in that one as I think they are an ageing team on the way down.

I agree - I also think you will win the league.
I think we did play well on Sat - although lady luck did shine down on us (and I don't mean the dodgy Ronaldo Penalty!).
Sometime you need a bit of luck - and maybe it is our year to finally win something.
Can't wait for our trip to Wembley!

We should have taken all 3 points at Anfield earlier in the season, and the fact we play at home twice before Anfield hopefully 2 wins will carry us through the 'Kop'. Although I would like Arsenal to win the toss and force Liverpool to kick towards the Kop in the first half [;)]
Mrs. wen is very happy (she is a fellow Manc).

I'm not sure about Chelsea winning the league, although they are capable of it without a doubt, but I agree that they are in the best position of all the English sides, and I think that they will beat the winner of Arsenal v Liverpool.
Prediction therefore is a Chelsea v Utd final.

I think the Prem will go to United, but i'm quietly confident about the CL.
In previous seasons we've struggled against teams we should beat ala PSV/Chelsea(early Moaniho)/Villareal... but seem to have no trouble overcoming AC/Inter/Juventus/Real Madrid, and if it wasn't for Crazy Jens (or the ref) screwing up early on in the final or Henry trying to actually shoot at goal, we should have done Barcelona too in 2006.
It will be interesting to say the least! Life is certainly not dull that's for sure!

Liverpool can be playing rubbish, but can pull the stops out for the big game. They did beat Chelsea in a euro semi final and also by some miracle did win a final despite being 3 goals down in the first half. I wouldn't write them off just yet.
