Hi,i live on my own and not at work due to stress and reclusive diss order,i have debts of over 15,000 and live on incapacity benifit i can no longer make my repayments on my debts what should i do.

I could be wrong but as you only recieve benefits, i dont think you will be able to enter an IVA. Are you a homeowner? If not have you considered bankruptcy.
Its not everybodys ideal but as you have no other income, it could be the best answer for you.

This aspect of debt is horrendous .

Aj ... just wanted to welcome you to the Forum ... you really are amongst friends here ... both experts and those of us who have had some pretty serious debt problems ... there is no problem that can't be sorted though ... so stay in touch with the Forum now that you have found it, especially if you are living alone (as am I) ... and you don't manage to get out and about ... we all need a bit of a lifeline.
