Got some spam this morning in the post from this company advertising
a. His company's services ProtectIVA
b. This forum

Given that I thought this site was against abuse of the insolvency register, surely it is not ideal that a reference to the site should be included on a mailshot that openly admits to trawling the register for people to target.

I'm sure protectIva offer a fine service but if I'd wanted it (which I don't as IVA is completed), i'd have gone looking for it

Rant over :)

Hi
John is a forum expert hence the mention of IVA.co.uk and this forum.
John openly admits to using the Insolvency register to identify people in an IVA,unlike all other companies that use the register for mail shots.I will be interviewing him next week for IVA.co.uk TV so people will be able to hear his story and all about his new product.
Regards

Openly admitting it doesn't make it any better though really in my humble opinion.

Ultimalty, it's another company looking to make a profit out of people in a IVA by obtaining their details from a register that shouldn't be public to everyone.

Not trying to be argumentative, it's just i have enough spam and mailshots to work through every morning as it is

From what I have read John's IVA insurance is a very good product and I would definitely have considered it if I was in an IVA.

At least he's using the register for something that might benefit people in IVA's, not just scaring them.
