Hi
Can you tell me where i stand with possibly losing my job if taking on an IVA or Bankruptcy.
I am employed by the National Health Service (NHS) and work in a prison (HMP)which, in reality gives me two employers' and two sets of rules/conditions to abide by.
What are the chances of keeping my job with the NHS and with HMP service please?

I would think your job would be perfectly safe unless IVA or bankruptcy is mentioned in your contract. If you are uncertain you could contact a higher body than yourself and check but i really dont think theres much to worry about. There are people on this forum who work for the NHS and have IVAs.

Hi
You are OK with an IVA.

The are some restriction to employment but yours is not one of them

Hi Jobb,

Neither the prison service nor NHS place restriction on empoloyment due to IVA's. The only position where I'm aware of it being considered is in the appointment of executive directors of primary care trusts.
