Please can you go into more detail regarding 'You will be required to pay any extra money that you have to the court, usually for three years' - what exactly does 'extra' mean? Thanks. Susanna

Hi
In bankruptcy your income and expenditure will be assessed by the official receiver. If they feel that you have a surplus then a percentage of this has to be paid each month for three years. This is called an income payment order
