Why do people go for DMP rather than IVAs

Sometimes they do not owe enought to justify an IVA, or have sufficient income to fund a minimum dividend, or there may be a difficult creditor who has rejected an IVA proposal, or they simply want to carry on paying their debts until they are paid in full.

Melanie, do people also go into a DMP if their IVA has failed? Or is it always bankruptcy in those circumstances?
