Just wondering if when an account is frozen any monies paid into it will not be accepted?
I am terrified that my partner's employers make the same mistake they did last month and pay her wages in to my HSBC account that has been frozen. I managed to get it out last month, as my account wasn't frozen, but I know I won't be able to this month.

No - the bank will still accept the money if the account has been frozen and there is an overdrawn balance.

OK Melanie, thanks - that's what I expected.
I have an overdraft of approx £300 with them, and a credit card balance of £1,500ish, therefore they would offset the o/d and then the credit card balance I assume?
My partner is confident that her employer won't make the same mistake, but I think I must just be a natural pessimist!

That is probably correct - but sometimes the credit cards are not necessarily linked to the current account.
