hello. If i have a hire-purchase(car)and paying then £400 a month would my iva payment be above £400. thank you

Hi - that is like comparing apples and pears. Firstly you will need to justify why there is a need for an expensive HP agreement, and then calculate your disposable income based upon you keeping the car and giving it up. If you could post more information about your current circumstances, we can be more helpful.

i was told i have to pay more then my hp is that true

No - but if your HP is higher than your disposable income, creditors will look at the HP costs with critical eyes and want to know that it is justified.
