Hi
I have been in an IVA since August although paying to synergie since last march. I have now received a letter from Nat West's soliciters regarding a court case on 6th Feb with a charging order on my property. Natwest are my main creditor owing them £20,000...I have tried to contact Synergie but unsuccessfully...what am I to do? I don't understand why I'm receiving this as Nat West are the main creditor in my IVA

Would appreciate any advice
Thanking you
Maggie

Hi

I had the same sort of thing this morning, so frustrating isn't it, I phoned left a message on the answerphone basically telling them to check the facts with their client and will be in touch with IVA firm on Monday morning, suggest you do the same and try not to let it spoil your weekend.

If your IVA was approved and it included the unsecured debt from the Nat West they cannot do this.

Contact your IP first thing on Monday morning and ask them to sort it for you.

I am staggered to see how long it took to sort your IVA out we normally have them in place with in 6-8 weeks.

I agree with Dave - why did this take so long to sort out, and how were those pre-payments disclosed in your IVA?
