Hi
My IVA was approved on the 27th December, and I havent paid my first payment yet, was just advised it needed to be paid 30 days after the meeting and I would be sent a Standing Order form.
Anyway my question is, my husband has just heard that he is to be given a 3% pay increase do I need to tell our IP or not ?

Hi Caraf, My IVA was approved on 17th December, and I had a £1500 per year pay rise from the 1st Jan. I sent my letter to my IP straight away, to inform them, but i haven't heard anything back. I have made my first payment to the IVA, so i think they are waiting for my annual review.

I would let your IP know though, just to be on the safe side

Hi Caraf, I am fine thankyou. I have been budgeting really well, and I have so far saved £45 with not smoking.

Hi Caraf
Let your IP know but I think that you will find that they will wait until your annual review and take this into consideration then. You should find that increases in living costs will have eaten away any extra that you have by then so your payments should remain the same.
