just a quick query. Since my car is determined to cause chaos to our IVA by breaking down frequently and needing new parts more often than I change my socks and having just encountered bambi with my front bumper, how easy it is to sell my car (listed as an asset - debatable now though!) and buy a new car (once we've saved the pennies)? is it a case of just discussing and agreeing with GT?

Louise,

Sorry to hear that your car is causing you so much trouble, I believe the best thing to do is contact GT and discuss your current situation.

Cheers for that! Once i get quotes done I will speak to GT - although I'm sure they are fed up of my ongoing saga of my car and all her failings!!!

Skippy - Bambi decided that as we were driving down a little road going to hubby's parents that he/she would leap out and then stand in the middle of the road. Hubby understandably still wary from writing off his car at the end of September decides the best thing to do is not to do an emergency stop but to brake sufficiently, however Bambi got in the way and pushed my bumper in but not much other damage.

And the moral of the story is never let your husband drive!!!

That's awful - it must have been really scary! It was bad enough when the lamp post jumped out behind me yesterday... I presume Bambi didn't make it, poor little thing?

Don't really know! bambi ended up on the side of the road and neither of us fancied stopping just in case it was still alive and then we'd be faced with the moral dilemma - what do we do!!!

I don't think I'm ever going to live the lamp post incident down especially as I reversed into a tree on the first day at our new offices!

The scary thing is that when I passed my test the examiner told me that if everyone drove as well as me his job would be so much easier!

I wonder whether it is the fault of this forum I got my first speeding offence notice a few weeks ago!

Fortunately got to go on one of those speed awareness schemes!!!!

I had been the subject of jokes from everyone who knows me!!!!
