Hi there wonder if you can help, i am a discharged IVA AS OF FEB 2003,(IVA started 2002) am i right in saying that in Feb 2008 this will be removed from my records?
Also as part of my IVA i returned a car to a finance company in April 2002 but ut is showing as a default will this be taken away as well if so when may this happen as my life is at a Finacial disaster at the moment, i have a mortgage sub prime paying over the odds etc.

Hi
A default will show on your credit file for six years from the date that it was registered.
So come Feb/April 2008 you should be clear.

Hi Nigel,

I understand that an IVA stays on your record for 6 years from the date it was agreed, so if yours was agreed in Feb 02, than yes, it should clear off your record this Feb. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong.
