You know when it says so many pence in the £, is that on top of IP fees.

Or does the fees come from the pence in the £ pot.

In have written to creditors with offer of a fAND f SETTLEMENT which comes in at 42p in the £, maybe i should of offered less intially, but thought would Offer the Best offer 1st and final.

Reaslise some creditors have a set minimum of pence in the £ they would take.

Yes - this is after IP fees have been taken into consideration. When you are asking creditors to write off a substantial amount of the money you owe to them, you should always strive to offer them the best deal you can afford.

Have offered them the best available, No room to negotiate.

So am i right in thinking 42p in pound would be before IP charges, so creditor would get the 42p miniium so true cost would be say 46p in £ including costs

As you are not doing an IVA, this is not relevant to you, and you are thinking of things a little back to front.

If you were proposing a lump sum based IVA, the total figure available would have to cover IP fees and costs, so therefore the balanc available for creditors would be somewhat lower. The dividend quoted is always that money which is directly available for creditors (after costs).

Hi
The 42p that you are offering will probably be 37p[because of IP fees] if you were to offer the same amount via an IVA.This is based on a debt of 100k.
