Well got a letter off them today and in January 2008 they are going to charge another £5 on top of the £12 because i have an additnal card!!!!! [:(!]
My other half says we should just surive on one card.
So it will cost £17 per month now, seems abit high to me.

I think the question should be are they offering you value for the money for the service they deliver to you ???
Commercially I understand what it costs to operate financial solutions and the £12 they charge doesn't seem to me excessive.
The card charge reflects the charge from the card operator who invests significantly in systems, people and processes to deliver the service.

Yes, it is me! I know a lot of people do like them, and if I paid the bills I would probably have stuck with them. As Storm says it comes down to value for money - for my 2 direct debits I didn't feel I got value for money, but someone who has a lot of DDs will be getting good value for money.
Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is the present - a gift to make the most of.

Hi
I,ve always been a fan of Think Banking but have to say that £17.50 per month is a bit too much.I will be going down to one card as from the 1st Jan,when it kicks in.
I think that we can see from the forum that banks are starting to put a squeeze on basic accounts,as they do not earn any money from them, and can see a fee for all accounts in the not too distant future. The fee will probably be disguised with some add ons that most people will never benefit from.

Interesting point Andy why the banks are closing the basic accounts down.
I am sure that people would not mind paying a small charge if they think they are not making money!
My only comment is that they do have funds available to assist them with their liquidity levels which they are talking about on the financial pages of our papers!
