Hi Craig
Yes it is ok as it is not credit as you have to put the money on them, its no different to a top up card really. It would be better to call them a pre paid debit card and get rid of the credit bit.

The question someone in an IVA thinking about a pre paid debit card would have to consider is how it would be paid for ???
If someone were to give you such a card then that would be fine
Tell it like it is.

Hello crg,
The card you are reffering to is not a credit card as it is your own money that you are using. Therefore because this is not credit you would be allowed to apply for one during an IVA.

This would be fine as the funds need to be put on the card before it can be used.

Hi
It would be sensible to have a pre-paid card as you never no when you may be in a situation where you can,t access your cash.
Tesco,s do a "pre paid shopping card" and a pre paid credit card is no different to that.
