Hi
I have had an IVA for nearly two years now. Prior to my IVA commencing I opened a bank account with Alliance and Leicester. I now have a debit card and cheque book, although it is still a basic account.
I have recently moved address. I telephoned my bank to tell them this and I was wondering do you know if they do credit checks when you change address. I am concerned they will check and find I am in an IVA and withdraw the banking facilities I have.

However the move may be recorded as a linked address, in which case it will be visible to other creditors.

Linked addresses are only created when a search is conducted.

They are not submitted by lenders on a monthly basis like payment information.
