Hi, many of you will be aware that my creditors meeting is this Friday at 3.30pm.[V]
I have had a letter today. It is connected to MBNA (they are my 3rd largest creditor out of 8 and will have around 11% of the vote)Letter is from a Recovery firm/Solicitors. Letter is headed 'this is not a payment demand'. the letter says that they are acting on MBNAs behalf and that they will be dealing direct with my IP as required by the law!!!!!!!! and that i would not be hearing from them again! Is this a good sign do you think that MBNA have voted yes to the IVA?

Also i have had a couple of creditors ask me to phone them on Friday and let me know if the IVA has been agreed. Is this ok to do?

BLUEBELLE DOMINIC

YOU HAVE DONE ALL YOU CAN ITS OUT OF YOUR HANDS NOW. YOUR IP WOULDNT HAVE MADE THE PROPOSAL IF IT DIDNT STAND A GOOD CHANCE. JUST WANTED TO SAY GOOD LUCK TO YOU BOTH. REMEMBER THIS WAY THEY ARE GETTING ALL YOU CAN GIVE, BANKRUPTCY WILL GET THEM A BIG FAT ZERO. AT LEAST THE WAITING WILL BE OVER SOON AND YOU CAN GET ON WITH YOUR LIFE.

LOADS OF LUCK

LILY

You will not have to contact your creditors on Friday as your IVA will be approved and therfore you will have no further dealings directly with your creditors.
Friday is the start of the rest of your life and the prize at the end of the five years will be worth all the pain that you have ,and to a certain extent, will go through.

Hello Bluebelle

As Neverending rightly states, you DO NOT have to contact your creditors with news of the acceptance of your IVA. If accepted an IVA is legally binding on all your creditors whom will have to then abide by the terms laid out in the agreement.

Good luck with everything.

Hi

Good luck for both of you tomorrow, I'm certain it will be fine. I made my first payment and it feels great...just think in a few weeks or even days you both will see that first payment come out of you bank and feel like a hugh part of the weight has been lifted.

GOOD LUCK[:)]
