Hi all,

I haven't been here for a bit, it's all changed I hope this is the place where I post this one.

Well what a year it has been c**p, however there is all ways a silver lining, therefore all of you out there don't lose hope.

We were paying out £975 per month on our IVA our life was the pits. We shouldn't of ever agreed to that, however we paid it for a year it put a lot of pressure on our marriage and it broke. Trudi and I broke up in July. We are still very good friends as we have Harry and he is a star.

Trudi's gone BR and my IVA has come down to £400 a month which now I can survive, yes money is tight but not as dark as it was.

Trudi gets help from benifit which she deserves as she only works a number of hours and is the sole carer of Harry.

The moral of the story is you are better off splitting being good friends and paying less.

Well it's not the ideal situation. But worth a thought.

It's funny how your life ends up!!!

So don't lose sight out there and there is many ways to go.

Welcome back markiboy - great to hear from you [:)]
The forum has been split into two just to make it easier for new posters to get answers quickly and easily, and for established members to have a place for more general chat..

Hi markiboy
Great to hear form you again.
So sorry to hear about you and Trudy but great that you still ar good friends and things are more settled for you both.
The forum has changed a lot of late but is still going really well.
I'm still the same old me, plodding along with life.
Why dont you try to come to the frugal friends meeting in walsall. Not sure where you are but will be a great evening. Be nice to meet and say hello to forum mates and put some faces to the names we know so well.

Anyway keep posting.

All the best

Ang xx

I might come, I'm off for two weeks to a rehabiltation centre, no don't worry I haven't gone mad. I have done my leg in and the physio will be good. It doesn't cost me a penny I pay into with my wages therefore the IVA can't get it and I get 5* treatment for two weeks. I tell you there is a silver lining to every c**p year.
