Does an IVA affect my business, I am self employed and classed as a sole trader? Do I have to involve my husband and his finances if I want to start an IVA for myself only or does this have to be done jointly?

Hi
As a sole trader you will have to include any business debts so you need to be sure that this will not affect your ability to trade.
Your husbands finances will only be used to determine how much you need to pay towards your living costs,i;e if your husband earns 60% of the household income he will be expected to pay 60% of all the bills etc.
