I wouldn' they have chose not tosay anything for a reason.
You could if you feel uncomfortable around them knowing you know kinda thing.
Mentionyou are having difficulties and thinking IVA and see if they volunteer the info. If not then they don't want to discuss it. X
Just my opinion mind.

I wouldnt want my family knowing about our trust deed application but can see it would be a dilemma. I would keep quiet about it,but hey ho its just my opinion.

Personally I wouldn't - it is embarrassing to have these details in very public view and I think that your family member would have told you if they had wanted you to know.

No I wouldn't I'd be devastated if someone told me I was in an IVA/bankruptcy. I think the petition to stop the Insolvency Register being public to anyone is the way forward and hope we can one day get this register so that you can only access it if you really needed to, i.e a company etc.,
I think some things are best left un-said and this is one of those things.

I think you should let them know you are having money troubles and entering into an IVA. Don't let on you know about them though, let them volunteer the info if they are happy to, they may just need someone to talk to. You never know, they may have seen your name on the Insolvency Register and are wondering the same thing.....
