Today I received a very exciting letter from my IP ... it was the completion of my IVA as a result of my F&F having been accepted a few weeks ago. The letter contained a statement of account .... and ... wait for it ... a cheque for from my IP £583 as a 'refund'!!!
Debbie
P.S
According to the said letter ... my IP is not my IP anymore ... I don't need one!

I'm going to save it ... for some reason I've become very mean with money ... and like the thought of having a bit of a financial security blanket nowadays [:)]
Anyone know what I need to do with the 'certificate of completion' ... I think Skip might be the expert on that.

Debbie, I feel like that too, about the funds in the bank. I had to use some of my 'blanket' on my car (new clutch) and it feels really scary. I have had to work out a budget to put it back. My cat gets to keep his nads for a couple more months, I have gone all mean too.... in the spending sense. I wont pay anything over the odds now.

What a lovely end to an incredible journey over the last year or so Debbie. I am looking forward to sharing a glass of wine (or a JD and coke!) with you in Bradford by way of celebration. Yours is a true success story - and you have seen it through with great dignity and common sense. What a fabulous feeling it must be now to know that the fruits of your labours are yours to savour!

Thanks for your kind words Melanie ... it is all still just sinking in really, and I have still not got used to the fact that big brother isn't watching me every time I even fill the car up with petrol (well diesel) now ... it really has surprised me just how insiduosly our debt situation can infiltrate our lives and mental and emotional state ... quite scary really.
