What's the difference between an individual IVA and an Interlocking IVA?

The only difference relates to the amount payable to your creditors Marie. IVAs are always supposed to be presented as stand alone agreements, but if the disposable income is too low in both estates, then a custom and practice has developed to present mutually reliant arrangements between husband and wife where only one payment is made for both estates and the dividend shared amongst both sets of creditors equally.

Joint creditors are generally affected, as they only receive one dividend in interlocking proposals, whereas in individual cases they get a return from both estates.

Well Viki, I think Melanie as set it out clearly for us - as usual she's good isn't she!

I'm fine, been trying to get some little projects finished off....I have to put finishing touches on a cross stitch book mark, I have a pillow (cross stitch) half done and about 100 cards. Decided to stop dwelling and get finishing off some of the nicer things in life! For today anyway [:I] [;)]

I used to love cross stitch - but don't really get the time now. I have three unfinished projects at home, and really must make an effort to get them finished this year.

I love hobby craft, I get everyone to get me vouchers for birthdays etc. Expensive hobby though - well can be. Fortunately I have enough craft pojects to last me ermmmm about 5-6 yrs. [:D]

I meant to remind you about that course.......they may re run it in September. I'm going to book on some more free courses in sept. I'm also going to try and get work to pay for a HR course, may not be poss tho as I think we may have to pay for half - not a chance [:(]

I admire you, I would love to be crafty![:D] Is that how you say it? They are running one in September but I'm not sure whether I should be doing a computer course instead as I will prob need that kind of experience in the future....you know....possible job wise.

They run some good courses here, (remember the belly dancing one) I'm going to make the effort.

We are quite fortunate as they do computer courses all year round here. I go to one of the local colleges to do the other courses.

I have got a power point course through work next week - not really looking forward to it but I'm sure it will be okay on the day.
