Hi all, firstly a huge apology for my absence,we have had a terrible few weeks. In my new job i'm unable to log on anymore and we have had a nightmare time at home!
As i've mentioned before where we live we have ,in the past ,experienced the neighbours from hell! Well a couple of the maisonettes in our block have stood empty for a while but unfortunately we now have new neighbours.[:(]The council in their infinite wisdom have moved a girl(found out she is 22) and her kids, and her younger sister(approx 16 yrs) into one of them right next to a property of three sons ages 16-20 who like nothing better than to have all their mates round to hang around outside and drink themselves stupid.Of course the girls have friends who have decided it's a great place to spend till the early hours music and all!!
Well since they have moved in,we have had people being sick and urinating everywhere,my car has been sat on,been hit by bottles and glasses where they are throwing them at each other, the police out more times than i can count, and we have discovered that some how they cut into our broadband cable and when Virgin investigated they said it was like that when they moved in.We have complained but the council asked us if we would be prepared to make statements etc.We explained that no thank-you we have to live there. The couple that live along from us complained direct to them and had their tyres slashed on their car,and just today they came home to their front door lock being superglued!!! It makes me so mad that you feel you can't just go out and ask them to stop for fear of retaliation.
Anyway enough of me moaning changing the subject completely Shaun and I have our creditors meetings on Friday morning at 10 and 10.15 so fingers crossed.I will be spending the next half hour catching up on some posts,i just didn't want you to forget us [:I][:I]xxx

I was thinking about you today - I was wondering how things were going for you!

I'm so sorry to hear about the terrible time you're having with your neighbours - I really don't understand how people can be like that. We're lucky where we are now as we have lovely neighbours, but the ones at the flat weren't great, but nowhere near as bad as what you are going through.

Good luck to both of you for Friday - don't forget to let us know how you get on. I'm sure you'll be fine with Melanie!

How is Boocie?

How hideous for you - and I was wondering where you were? I do hope the Council manage to sort something out for you soon, as that sort of anti-social behaviour is just not acceptable.

Hi Melanie, trust me when i tell people what goes on in our block i think they think i'm making up,it does have to be seen to be believed !! There has been a few times when either Shaun or I wanted to go out and move car or say something, but everyday you read in the paper what happens to people that do!
Please can i take this opportunity to thank you for your help so far,and we are just on tenderhooks for Friday xx

Having met you and Shaun, I can imagine that he just must be sitting on his hands wanting to go out and sort them out but knowing that there may be ramifications of this. My hubby would be livid, and probably would take them on - but of course you just cannot afford the chance of that these days - sadly.

Concentrate on sorting things out on Friday, and then perhaps you can think about putting in for a move.

Hi Ang,hope your well.Hope i didn't offend anyone refering to the girl and her kids moving in.I was a single parent once and know how tough it can be but i respected other peoples property etc. What annoys me is most of the trouble and mess is caused by their friends who don't even live here.I'm sure they wouldn't puke in their own back garden so what makes then think it's ok to do it in our stairwell and grass areas....ooohh off on one again sorry[:I]

Hi sorry to hear about your terrible situation,i can fully understand your situation , we suffered anti social behavior for 2 and half years by people on our street . We asked the council to move us from the hell but they refused. We complained and complained but to no avail .My hubby and i had depression and two of my children are still having counseling now because they were traumatized by it all.In the end we went to the houses of parliament and we got moved in April this year . There is a light at the end of the tunnel believe me , we never thought there would be .My husband wanted to hit the people concerned for making our lives a misery , but where would that have got him ? We now live in a lovely estate and have peace for the first time in 3 years . Its wonderful .We couldnt call the police either for fear of a riot .Hope everything works out for you Best wishes Rachel x
