Anyone with loads of snow sat on their cars still ( and I mean loads) - please go and remove it from your windscreen and roof - why I here you ask .....well as I found out this morning...snow is very heavy when there is lots of it - went out to clear the snow off my car this morning and the weight of the snow on the back window had snapped off the rear wiper completely - now a costly repair job to have it replaced is needed !!!!! Also one of my neighbours windscreens smashed under the weight of the snow this afternoon !
Don't risk it - clear it off !

Not good!
Fortunately, the front of our house gets the sun from early morning and as it was sunny today all the snow has melted from the cars.
Worth remembering.

Wouldn't be so bad but the rear wash wiper mechanism has also broken so have to try and find one in a scrap yard apparently as no longer available ! I can feel our contingency for next month already going going gone !!!!

Don't be Debbie - it's been horrendous!
We still have lying snow, which is masking ice now so the pavements are lethal.

We had a sprinkling of snow overnight, but not the 4" that was forecast thank goodness. Most of that has now melted and we have sunny intervals.
It keeps going a bit iffy though and the wind is cold.
