Hello. I made my final payment in May and have my completion certificate.

Today I received a pair of letters (in the same envelope) from HSBC & Max Recovery / Eversheds telling me that my debt had been transferred. I am confused! Should I just file and forget?

Nothing to worry about, just HSBC selling off a job lot of 'bad debt'. Max recovery will find out soon enough that your debt was subject to an IVA.

Yes - if your IVA has successfully completed then there are no longer any debts to tranfer. It seems it is them who are perhaps confused!

i got the same letter today and was confused as i only have 3 payments to make till the end of my iva, and had some replies on here that said not to worry which put my mind at ease.

I've not made the last payment to my IVA but coming to the end and my hubby and I both had the same letters today, he got the mail first and was a bit concerned but I assured him nothing to worry about.

Mine had already been sold on prior to the IVA so I assume I won't get anything.
