hello.I am a lady seperated from her husband but not divirced i am earning £205 per week as a child minder and i amassed debts of apprx.28,000.What with rent and everything else i have little money to pay these bills anymore,have i got a case for going bankrupt as i feel i cant cope anymore!

I am another person in debt so do not feel qualified to answer, but wanted to wish you well and say the forum is a great place for help and support and there will be a solution for your debt problem thats right for you

If you have calculated that you have no disposable income available to meet ongoing repayments to creditors, and have no assets which would be at risk under bankruptcy proceedings, then this may well be a suitable option for you. I am sure that the Judge will rubber stamp your application for you, but do be aware that there are Court fees of £485 to be paid in cash as part of the application.

Hi

Just wanted to say, you are amongst friends here who know only too well what youre going through at the moment. There is always an answer to every problem. Although Bankruptcy is a big decision and its difficult to think straight when youre so stressed and worried about money (or lack of it). You do have time to make the right decision for you. One option is to stop paying your creditors and start saving for the BR fees.

Hello st ... just wanted to welcome you to the Forum. I've been a single parent for many years, although my children are all grown up now (does that still make me a single parent?). But I do know what a struggle it can be.
